Endings like -s, -ed and -ing
These make a new form of a word you've already found — not a new word. So react, reacts, reacted and reacting all stack up in one place: each form tucks in behind the word, and a little +1, +2, +3… counter shows how tall the stack has grown. Rare words
A few extra-special words are hiding on every board. Build one and it gets a gold star ★ and a celebration all of its own. Rare words aren't part of your goal — they count on top — so a rare find can even take you past it. Hints will never give one away: you have to discover them yourself!

When every space is filled

Spelling clues
Sometimes the spelling changes where two parts join. Watch for these:
nDouble letters — a letter is added and highlighted in yellow (e.g. run + ing → running).
eOmissions — a silent letter is dropped and shown crossed out (e.g. elevate + ion → elevateion).
yiy → i — a y changes to an i, shown in yellow (e.g. carry + es → carries).
iVowel connectors — a joining letter highlighted in blue glues the parts together (e.g. therm + o + meter → thermometer).
